Basketball Leagues
There are few sports that are a better test of athleticism than basketball - and who knew it could be so much fun! Our CMSA basketball league offers a good test of skill for those looking for a challenge, and a fun place to make new friends and shoot a few hoops for those who might be new to the sport.
CMSA Basketball is offered in both an Open format and Women's+ format and runs during the winter of each year. Our open league offers multiple levels for every type of skill, and our women's league encourages all skill levels to join and give it a try.

Basketball Seasons

Open Basketball - 5 v. 5; recreational, intermediate and competitive levels are offered (Ratings committee determines appropriate level for new players following first month of play)
Women's+ Basketball - 5 v. 5; one level of play offered
Captains/Full Teams: Team captains can register and create a team. Individuals can then register on their own and select their preferred team.
Free Agents: Players may register as a free agent and will be assigned to a team prior to the league start date.
Open Basketball
Regular Season: 1-2 games per week. Games currently are played on Saturday evenings.
Playoffs: Single elimination playoffs, seeded based on regular-season finish.
Rosters: Maximum 10 players per team.
Women's+ Basketball
Regular Season: 1 game per week. Games are played on Saturdays.
Playoffs: Single elimination playoffs, seeded based on regular-season finish.
Rosters: Maximum 15 players per team.
Jerseys, basketballs, scorebooks, time clocks are all provided at the site. Games are officiated by paid referees.
Players must provide appropriate shorts and footwear.
